Problem: Wild Inconsistencies in Natural Birch Doors

Solution: Specify White Birch Doors


Natural birch is closed grain and even textured. Natural birch varies in color from creamy white to dark brown. Natural Birch is not selected for color thus heartwood and sapwood is used giving an inconsistent appearance. The following are examples of the inconsistency:
 
 
 


Specifying white birch offers a solution to the inconsistency of Natural Birch. Rotary Select White Birch has a closed grain, even texture and uniform hardwood. Select White Birch is selected for color. This sapwood is used to give a uniform and consistent appearance.

White birch veneers on Marshfield Signature Series are hand sorted and selected at our factory.
