In 1983, Weyerhaeuser committed itself to continue to be the leader in the Architectural Door Business through the implementation of a "modernization process". Over a ten year period of time, significant capital was committed to new facilities that provided a superior product and service to our customers. This process was comprised of a series of large investments to improve the process flow of manufacturing, incorporate state-of-the-art automated equipment, testing labs and the building of new manufacturing facilities.
